If you're new to my world, you might not know that I work with a spirit team I refer to as Avalon. I co-create with them every day, so if you stick around you will likely hear me talk about them regularly. I thought it would be good to have an explanation of who they are, and that's what we're doing in this blog post.
I call my spirit team 'Avalon', but their full name is The Avalon Collective. I get the impression that they're a group of entities rather than just one (and not just because of the clue in their name!). I sometimes see them like a board of directors, all sitting around a big oval table.
When I say that their name is The Avalon Collective, I don't think that means what it usually means. I get the impression that they don't necessarily have or need a name, the name is for me. If they have a name at all, it's probably something totally different. But they have me call them Avalon, because that word is meaningful to me, especially in the context of the work that we're meant to be doing together.
When we first connected, Avalon said that the joint purpose of our work together is to bring magic back to the individual. I used to think that this was about the power to create, to push anything you desire into being. I now understand that it's about a softer way, with love and support, co-creating what you desire with Spirit.
To me, magic is about understanding that the world is made up of energy, and learning to work with that energy to shape things. Part of this is listening to guidance, part of it is tapping into soul, part of it is intentionally directing focus towards particular outcomes.
Magic is a way of being in the world that doesn't let you settle for something you don't like - it always gives you options. It's how I prefer to live, and it's the basis of all of my work.
Avalon's messages always aim to bring you back into soul alignment, back to your inner knowing, where your power lies. I've been bringing their wisdom through for many years, and credit them with a lot of my own success.

A message about joy
A message from Avalon: Infinite potential
There is magic in you
Avalon's guidance is the foundation of the work we do in The Elevator. Every Friday, I send out a message I channel from them, something to notice, focus on, address. Each message is about a paragraph and comes with a series of journal prompts to help you apply the guidance to your particular situation.
I firmly believe that guidance is all around us, but it needs to be implemented. That's where the focus is in The Elevator and in everything I do. I always ask: what can you DO with this message?
Working with Avalon's guidance each week is a really simple way to let Spirit guide you back to your own magic, intuition and power. It gives an opportunity to disconnect from the noise of the world and tap into your own truth. It's a practice I swear by.
I hope you enjoyed this introduction to my spirit team, and how I co-create with them. If you work with a team of your own, I'd love to know something about them too, leave me a comment below!
(and if you don't, simply let me know if anything from this introduction resonates with you, I'd love to know that, too!)
Love,

I avoid channeling, except for healing, because I have had times when I encountered something that turned out not to be on the side of good. But it sounds like it works well for you.
Oh no! I’m sorry you had that experience. If you ever want to learn it or try again, this is a great course run by someone really trustworthy: https://carawilde.com/channel-your-guide/
I love the positivity of your posts. I like the idea that we can work with the energy in the world to bring a little magic into our lives.
Thanks! I actually used to be really negative so this is definitely a learned skill! 🙂
This is very interesting Joanna! I do like where you said, “Magic is a way of being in the world that doesn’t let you settle for something you don’t like”… I guess I have some magic because because I can always look for options.
It’s a wonderful outlook to have, to be willing to always look for and see options.
