When I was little, I was told that I had no artistic talent. It was as if my parents wanted to distribute talent equally, and I got singing and my brother got drawing. You couldn’t have both.
I spent my high school years dreading art class, where everyone would see how useless I was. The teacher, sadly, didn’t help. I was crap at anything artistic.
So imagine my surprise to find myself here today, using intuitive art as part of my work with intuition and spiritual connection.
It turned out that not having traditional artistic talent was no reason not to enjoy art… but this was a tough idea to accept.
When I first started working with intuitive art, it was terrible. I was so self-conscious about what I created. It was never pretty enough, and it was always less pretty than everyone else’s. I was committed though, and I pushed through the discomfort, and now here I am, using it regularly. And I think that you should try it too.
So what is intuitive art?
It is a way of quieting down the ego-self, the mind, the brain. It is meditation. It is connection. It makes you quiet inside so that you can hear the voice of your soul.
It is a way of listening to your intuition, your spirit guides, your higher self.
It helps you explore your deepest self at a level you hadn’t seen before. It allows you to dig deeper and deeper, until you arrive at the answers that ring true.
Why does it have such power? Because it forces you to let go, to stay in the moment, to leave your comfort zone, to detach from the outcome, to try something new. It shows you information that you didn’t think you had access to. And if you’re open, to wisdom about your path and your soul path. Plus it improves your manifesting mojo, and who wouldn’t want more of that!
It is the single most influential tool in my toolbox and I want to share it with you.
