If how we think and the words we use influence the world around us, then me thinking that I don’t have enough isn’t helping. Neither is listening to people telling me that starting a business venture in the current economic climate is not a good idea.

You know what will help though?

Taking responsibility for my finances and developing a healthy relationship with money. When someone in one of my mastermind groups asked me what my relationship with money was like, I honestly had no idea what she was talking about. Why would I want a relationship with money? But after some back and forth, I understood. If I treat money kindly, it’ll be treat me kindly too. If I ignore it, it’ll ignore me too. It’s just energy after all, like everything else.

So I started experimenting and things started changing. Except that it turned out that the process isn’t that quick and painless. It takes time. And effort. And a willingness to be honest with myself.

It turned out that to attract money, I had to forgive people and de-clutter and examine my beliefs about rich people. Forgive and de-clutter to clear space around me and examine beliefs to figure out if I associated lots of money with positive things. I didn’t.

I started reading about money and abundance, and boy is there a lot of information out there! Seriously. So I decided to put together a list of all the money mindset books that have come onto my radar so far. I’ll be working my way through the list and clearing blocks as a I go along.

If all this money talk is making you uncomfortable, then looking at some of these books is exactly what you need. Especially if you’re also a woman. Women especially are fed this idea that money is crass, and that marrying rich is a good option. Though everyone in the world learns that we don’t talk about money, that you have to work hard to make money, and that wanting loads of money is selfish.

I don’t want to live according to those beliefs anymore.

My money and abundance mindset reading list:

Do you know any others I should add to my list?
